We are excited to announce that registration for our 2018 Seattle Wolfpack Lacrosse Spring teams begins October 29th for returning players and November 8th for players new to Wolfpack Lacrosse. We have a great season planned, and are excited to get back on the field to build on the fun and momentum from last season. Once registered, coaches will reach out in early 2018 with practice information, game schedules and details. Practices typically begin mid-February, twice a week, with games on Saturdays.

Please read below, as there are some important changes we want to inform you of:

Middle School Lacrosse:

The lacrosse community continues to grow in Seattle!  Middle school programs are being established at Lakeside and SAAS and participation rules vary from program to program and at the league level for boys and girls. Please pay attention to this as it is the responsibility of the family to register your child for the correct program.

UPDATE!! The Seattle Metro Youth Lacrosse Association (SMYLA) has changed their rules to allow:

  1. All players may choose which program they register for (will not be required to play for their school)
  2. Players may only register for one team
  3. Players may only register for a school if they attend that school

Sibling Policy and Waitlists:

The Wolfpack community is an amazing group of families and it is our intent to have a spot for all our siblings.  However, given the amount of players in some of the divisions it is possible we will not be able to accommodate all siblings.  In order to be fair, siblings will be taken in the order they are registered. This means that all returning players will be given a spot first and then siblings will be added in the order they are registered.  Please be sure to register your children quickly to ensure a spot. Again, we hope to accommodate all of our returning families. Teamsnap will automatically register your players although siblings may be placed on a waitlist and you will be notified of your registration status prior to November 8th.  Registration fees will be fully refunded if your player is not placed on a team.

Registration for Returning Players:

Returning players (and siblings, space permitting): priority registration will be open October 29th, 7pm.  This is limited to returning players and their siblings, space permitting.

Registration for New Players:

Registration for new players will open on November 8th at 7pm.  We urge you to register quickly as we anticipate many teams will fill up. Players will be added to the team wait list if the registration fills up and families will be contacted from that list if spots open up prior to the start of the season. Many of our waitlist players were placed on a team.

Registration links are below.  Please register players under the correct division to ensure you are placed on the correct team (for example, if your child is in 4th grade, please register for the 3/4 division). You can find the links on our webpage as well at www.seattleyouthlacrosse.org

Other helpful information:

Please note a valid US Lacrosse membership # is required to play. The membership must be valid through June 2018. If your player(s) do not have a membership or need to renew, please visit www.uslacrosse.org. US Lacrosse memberships are $30 and cover our insurance requirements.

Registration is $250 per player and scholarships are available. Please contact me, the registrar, via email (seattlewolfpacklax@gmail.com) if you’d like to discuss.

Refund Policy: Refunds minus 20% admin fee are available through Dec 31st. No refunds are available beyond Dec 31, 2017.

The boys' coaches have found that StringKing’s sticks are perfect for either a new or continuing player at these age groups. Coaches are saying they spend far too much time re-stringing sticks or see players less successful due to a poor stick. The price point for their gear is exceptional.

We have a great season planned and look forward to seeing all our players back on the field!
