Registration for the 2020 Seattle Wolfpack Lacrosse Spring teams is open. We have a great season planned and are excited to get back on the field to build on the fun and momentum from last season. Once registered, coaches will reach out in early 2020 with practice information, game schedules and details. Practices typically begin mid-February, twice a week, with games on Saturdays. Given that field schedules won't be available until early February, we are unable to say, at this time, what days, times and fields each team will practice. As an FYI, a separate K-2 Wolfpack Mini-Lax registration will take place in March 2020. More details to follow in the new year.
Please read below, as there are some important reminders to be aware of:
Middle School Lacrosse: The lacrosse community continues to grow in Seattle! Middle school programs are being established at Lakeside and SAAS and participation rules vary from program to program and at the league level for boys and girls. Please pay attention to this as it is the responsibility of the family to register your child for the correct program. Here are the rules as they have been communicated to us, but again, if your school offers lacrosse, please follow up with your athletic department. A player can only register for one team. All boys have a choice of where they can play, outside of SAAS. Boys must play with SAAS starting in 7th grade (although if you have a current 8th grader, he is eligible to play for Wolfpack). For girls, if your middle school offers a 7/8 team, you must play for your school and not your club (unless school was unable to field a team).
Waitlists: Please be sure to register your player quickly to ensure a spot. We hope to accommodate all players but we do have a team/coach ratio that we maintain. This allows for great coaching and practices and playing time during games. If a team is full, TeamSnap will alert you and state that the team is no longer taking players. The registrar will maintain a waitlist, and will manage it based on order. To be placed on a waitlist, please contact the registrar: email@example.com.
Other helpful information: Please note a valid US Lacrosse membership # is required to play. The membership must be valid through June 30, 2020. If your player(s) do not have a membership or need to renew, please visit www.uslacrosse.org. US Lacrosse memberships are $30 and cover our insurance requirements. To ensure easy registration, please have this number handy during registration process!
Registration is $280 per player and scholarships are available. Please contact the registrar via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you’d like to discuss.
Refund Policy: Refunds minus 20% admin fee are available through Dec 31st. No refunds are available beyond Dec 31, 2019.
Registration How To's:
Please click on the link that coincides with your players grade/gender. Do NOT "add a participant" if TeamSnap prompts you once you click on a team link, because you will end up registering the wrong player on the wrong team. For example, if I clicked on Boys 7/8 and started registering my 7th grade boy and then clicked on the prompt "add another participant" and then also registered my 5th grade girl, I would then have both players registered for Boys 7/8. In this case, you will need to register twice.
Also, if you auto populate from previous years using Teamsnap, PLEASE ensure grade, tshirt/short sizes, etc. are updated (as it will auto populate from last year’s sign-up).
